If I need a dental procedure but don't have the cash to cover it, are financing options available?
If I have a patient who needs a dental procedure and unfortunately doesn't have the money up front to cover this procedure, we have financing available at Simply Smiles. Different options are available. Something new we've been offering now is CHERI, and of course, we have worked with CareCredit for a while.
Will I have to pay for my dental procedure up front?
You don't have to pay for your dental procedure up front. The dental financing which is available pretty much takes care of all that, and you can pay in monthly payments, which is more affordable and easy for you.
What dental financing options are available from Simply Smiles and how do they work?
We have several options as far as financing available. We work with a number of companies that help our patients get their mouth healthy. We work with CHERI, and the qualification to get financing from CHERI is very easy. We also work with CareCredit.
Does all dental financing require a credit check?
I get asked a lot if dental financing requires a credit check. So there's a soft and a hard credit check. Initially, we can get a pre-approval which is a soft pull where it doesn't go against your credit history, but then once you take out the financing, yes, it will go into your credit history. But guess what? If you pay your credit back on time, it will actually boost your credit.
Does dental insurance typically cover the cost of most dental procedures?
Dental insurance covers part of the cost for dental procedures. Usually, dental insurance has a cap and it really depends on your particular plan. So a lot of patients that we have do need to pay some co-pays out of pocket.
How can I find out if my insurance will cover the cost of my dental procedure?
It is easy to find out if your insurance covers the cost of the dental procedure. Please give us a call and you can talk to my insurance coordinator, who is very versed in the ins and outs of dental insurances.
How can I find out if my insurance will only partially cover the cost of my dental procedure? Can financing options help me pay for the rest?
If you find out that dental insurance only covers a part of the dental procedure, then of course, dental financing is definitely a good option to pay for the difference.
